Learn all the tricks for composing an authentic Spanish paella. Cook along with Chef James as he walks through the steps to make paella and goes over the history of the dish and the many variations of paella that exist across Spain. This dish can be made vegetarian or with seafood or chicken.

Supplies needed include: knife, cutting board, prep bowls, and ladle. A paella pan is nice to have but any large, flat-bottomed pan can work in a pinch. If you aren't able to gather all the ingredients, Chef James can suggest common items that are in your pantry to compose a delicious dish! |
ABOUT
CookWithJames was created 15 years ago as an underground supper club in San Francisco. James would prepare multiple course regional Italian and Spanish dinners in his home for friends and guests. James staged at Quince restaurant after they opened in 2004 and has also lived and cooked in both Italy and Spain. After leaving his day job in advertising in 2009, James launched CookWithJames as a full-time business, offering private sit-down dinners and cooking classes.
