Jungshin Sword Workout
Gather your team for a group fitness experience that uses a wood sword and martial arts-based movements to train the body to develop strength, agility and control in a way that no other workout does. You'll use a sword as an extension of your core to start and stop in different strike positions while integrating different stances. The rhythmic use of a sword also has a meditative effect - enabling a focused mind. This class is led by Jungshin Fitness creator Annika Kahn who is a 3rd degree black belt and 4-time world grand champion in the Korean art of Kuk Sool Won.

Good to Know: Using a sword truly elevates this experience. If you choose not to have swords shipped, the class can be modified to focus on empty hand flows based on martial arts movements.
Jungshin Fitness is a martial arts based program, combining authentic and dynamic modalities of movement using a wood practice sword as a lever for balance and power. Jungshin Fitness creator Annika Kahn is a 3rd degree black belt and 4-time world grand champion in the Korean art of Kuk Sool Won. Prior to the creation of Jungshin Fitness, Annika was an instructor at Applied Biosystems, teaching the basics of DNA sequencing and fragment analysis. Annika works daily on research involving the biochemistry of both brain and body and how Jungshin exercises relate to the overall health of the central nervous system.
