Learn how to make your very own kombucha at home with Lila Volkas, a certified Nutrition Consultant based in Berkeley, CA. Lila will send each participant a Kombucha Kit which includes a brewing vessel, SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast), starter tea, cloth cover, tea, sugar and illustrated instructions. Lila will cover the history of kombucha, health benefits and how to brew it at home safely. You team will make your first batch of kombucha together and learn everything you need to know to continue making kombucha successfully at home. You can brew kombucha forever as long as you take care of your kombucha organism!

Lila Volkas is a Certified Nutrition Consultant, workshop facilitator and wellness writer based in Berkeley, California. Lila studied Holistic Nutrition at Bauman College and was inspired to become a Nutrition Consultant by her own six-year healing journey from chronic skin, digestive and fatigue issues. These health challenges strengthened Lila's ability to listen and attune to her body's needs and led her to her dream job of helping others find healing through food. Lila has led hundreds of workshops online and around the Bay Area on health topics that range from gut health to brain boosting foods to how to brew your own kombucha. She works with companies like Google, Airbnb, and Atlassian to bring wellness into the workplace through her corporate workshops.
